In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to use our POD design tool. This involves uploading images, designing the front and back of the product, using the autofill feature, adding text and stickers, and incorporating a foreground.
As an example, we will show you how to create a playing card, specifically choosing “Poker Size Custom Playing Cards (2.48″ x 3.46″)” for our design product.
For The Preparation
Go to the product page
Step 1:Go to the product page
Select your desired product specifications, such as deck quantity. For a 54-card deck, choose “54 cards” under “Deck Quantity.” Then, click “Order a Sample” to design your product.
Step 2: Enter the number of cards for your deck, select card front and back options
As previously noted, for a 54-card deck, select “54 cards” under “Deck Quantity.” However, if you require a 53-card deck, simply enter “53” in “Step 1.” This will create a 53-card deck instead of a 54-card one. Next, choose your card front and back options.
Upload images
In the POD design tool, you can see the multi-media button on your left-hand side.
Once you’ve selected it, click the upload button to add your images.
After uploading the images of the playing cards, you can apply them to both the front and back.
To ensure your image size matches our card dimensions, please download our template for accurate alignment and a perfect display of your artwork.
Design Both Sides of The Cards
To design the front or back of the card, toggle the option between “Front” and “Back” in the upper-right corner.
You have 3 options for designing the card front.
Option 1:
Click “Add” below the uploaded image.
This function lets you freely resize and position your image on the card.
Additionally, you can enhance your design by adding graphics or stickers after uploading the image file, adjusting and placing these elements as you desire.
To find additional stickers, click the “Stickers Library” button on the left side and choose your preferred sticker.
To explore additional sticker options, click “Get more” to access a wider selection.
Option 2:
Click the “3 dots” button next to the “Add” button and select “Background.”
If you are looking for more background graphics, click the “Background Library” button on the left side and select your preferred background.
To explore additional background options, click “Get more” to access a wider selection.
Option 3:
Click the “3 dots” button next to the “Add” button and select “Foreground.”
This will automatically fill the space with the chosen image, eliminating the need to manually resize it. Any graphics added to the tool will be layered below the foreground image.
If you are looking for foreground graphics, click the “Foreground Library” button on the left side and select your preferred foreground.
To explore additional foreground options, click “Get more” to access a wider selection.
When creating a trading card, the foreground plays a crucial role. Here’s a tip: Upload your desired trading card frame graphic as the foreground (we recommend using a PNG file), then layer other images underneath it.
PS. Choose “Autofill” to effortlessly populate your cards with 54 images. This feature automatically fills in all the images for you.
Adding Text
Upon selecting the text button, type in the text box and then click “Add”. After clicking “Add,” your text will appear in the design tool.
To edit the text, use the buttons on the left-hand side: “Style,” “Shape,” and “Position.”
Design The Packaging of Card Box
To customize your box outside or inside, toggle the option between “Front” and “Back” in the upper-right corner.
Insert your chosen design into the POD design tool.
To design your box inside, your box follows a similar method to designing its outside.
Preview
Click “Preview” in the upper-right corner to view both the front and back of the card.
Click “Box Preview” in the upper-right corner to view the outside of the card box.
Click “Box Preview” in the upper-right corner to view the inside of the card box.
