Frequently Asked Questions
How does print on demand reduce waste in card printing?
With print on demand, QPMN prints a deck only after it has been ordered. There is no minimum order quantity, so you do not need to print a large run in advance, store it, or throw away cards that never sell.
Which QPMN packaging option uses the least plastic?
A tuck box uses no plastic on the cards themselves; only the outside of the box is wrapped for protection. Cardboard boxes come with a small paper band around the cards instead of shrinkwrap. Shrinkwrap is used on the cards only when no box is chosen.
What is EF27 card stock made from?
EF27 is a 270 GSM herbage card stock made with fibers from herbaceous plants, including grass and leafy plant material. It is about 0.36 mm thick, has a matte aqueous finish, and shows a light natural tint with visible fibers.
Will my colors look different on EF27?
Are QPMN cards printed with PFAS-free ink?
Since its July 2026 transition, QPMN prints its cards with PFAS-free CMYK inks on HP Indigo digital presses. See QPMN's PFAS-free printing guide for details on the inks and related regulations.
Can I order one sample deck before choosing an eco option?
Yes. Because QPMN has no minimum order quantity where the product configuration supports it, you can order a single sample deck to check the stock, color and packaging before you sell or order more.
